Abdulla Niyaz aka. Niyattey is more than just a DJ. He is also the founder member, Backing Vocalist and Bass Guitarist of the local band called “Aficraifa” during 90’s. Aficraifa is the first rock band in the country which brings the interest from the media. The band Aficraifa established as a rock band in 1994 since then they have performed 39 live shows in the capital Male’ under the name of “Painted Sound Illusion”. Their live shows brought revolution to the local Musicians. Niyattey’s DJ career started in 1998 while working with the band Aficraifa. He started performing in tourist resorts in the Maldives. hey hey, i knw niyattey back den...both muthey n niyattey would sing fo us at our home, wen i was real small...i remember the verses of some songs even...even their logo was super kwl...recently some gals even sang their song in alimas carnival..aficraifa rocked at that time...
